I'm not surew here I got htis game, but I saw it in my library and figured I'd try it. Honestly it is not very good :( The music that comes with it is a bit annoying. The gameplay is bad, and I'm not a fan of what I think they were going for, which is a bland thing to try to be. Best of luck to the devs though, I'm sure the next one they do will be a bit better. :)Positives are that the gameplay appears to be simple, at the very least, the gameplay shown by the tutorial.. I just played Turba for 15 minutes, to get the Summer achievement that was added to it.Afterward when I got up from my chair, I stubbed my toe very hard, fell and bashed my arm on a bookcase as I tried to catch my fall, scraped my leg rather painfully, and finally broke my fall by smashing my hand against the sharp corner of a wooden box. My arm hurts, my leg hurts, my hand hurts, and my toe is bleeding a bit. I also seem to have punched myself in the stomach or something on the way down, I'm not even sure on that, but it hurts there too.Still, if I had no choice but to repeat one of those two experiences, I would not choose Turba.. Good concept, terrible execution. Beat detection is a core gameplay element and is implemented so poorly that the game is often unplayable.. Generally, in rhythm-based games that have so many of their mechanics based around detecting the beat of a song, you actually want the beat-detection to detect the ever-important beat. When it fails to do this for virtually your entire library - detecting beats that don't exist, consistently skipping beats in a chugging song that has an unchanging beat - and the mechanics of the game don't just reward your attentiveness to the beat but actively punishes you for not keeping with the game's seemingly arbitrary measure of where the beat of your song actually is, then it makes the game......basically unplayable.. This game would be passable as yet another one of those match-the-color type puzzle games, but it chooses to add an awkward beat detection system as a key point of the game's mechanics. Said system behaves incredibly unpredictably, failing to roll over the beat counter for several seconds and then suddenly shooting it forward 4 times in a single second. Doing well on a song requires playing the same song multiple times to memorize where the game detects "beats". Stay away.. It's spelled "turbo", guys. This USED to be a pretty good game. It's a match three puzzle game that flows to the beat of the music you put in it. In theory. The game was ok with the beat detection (which is important here because doing things on the beat is the way to succeed), but it was a little rough in spots. So they put out a patch to improve the beat detection, which just ended up wrecking it beyond repair. It's just a mess now and does not really match up to your music at all, which is the worst sin for a game based on generating content from your music. Pass on this one.. Well, it does what it says on the tin. Whether that was a good idea or not is up for debate. I didn't find it terribly compelling, and it didn't help that it has a lack of polish (like the UI being a minor disaster in a few areas), but if listening to music while playing Bejeweled isn't enough for you and you want Bejeweled itself to listen to your music too, I could see it maybe being mildly amusing.
